This Privacy Policy explains how VoxNexus ("we", "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use our website, console, APIs, SDKs, and related services (the "Services").

01 Information we collect

Depending on how you use the Services, we collect the following information:

  • Account information: when you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account.
  • Content you submit: text, audio recordings, and files you send to the Services, such as text for speech synthesis or audio for transcription and translation, and the results returned to you.
  • Usage and device information: API requests, usage volume, API key activity, IP address, browser and device type, and log data generated when you use the Services.
  • Payment information: when you top up your balance, payments are processed by our payment provider. We receive transaction details such as amount, status, and time, but not your full card number.
  • Communications: information you provide when you contact us by email, for example about partnerships, sales, or support.

02 How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • provide, operate, and maintain the Services, including processing your requests and returning results;
  • create and manage your account, authenticate you, and keep your account secure;
  • measure usage, bill you, and process payments;
  • monitor, troubleshoot, and improve the performance and reliability of the Services;
  • detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
  • respond to your inquiries and send service-related notices;
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

03 Cookies and local storage

We use a small number of cookies and browser storage items that are necessary for the Services to work:

  • a session cookie that keeps you signed in to the console;
  • a "locale" cookie that remembers the language you choose;
  • a "voxnexus-theme" entry in your browser’s local storage that remembers your light or dark theme choice.

04 How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers: with vendors who help us run the Services, such as cloud hosting, sign-in (Google), and payment processing, who may use it only to provide their services to us;
  • Legal requirements: when required by law, regulation, legal process, or a governmental request, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of VoxNexus, our users, or others;
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections;
  • With your consent: in any other case where you have asked or agreed for us to share it.

05 International transfers

VoxNexus has entities in Singapore and the United States and serves customers worldwide, so your information may be processed in countries other than the one you live in. When we transfer information across borders, we take steps required by applicable law to protect it.

06 Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, and afterwards only as long as necessary to comply with legal, accounting, or reporting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

07 Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

08 Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can also ask us to close your account.

To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before responding. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

09 Children

The Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice.
